Okay, I have excuses - too many to detail here except to say that I have, since we last met, co-written the first draft of the screen play for The Olive Sisters, been to London to introduce my offspring to that great city and visit my dearest old friends, and have put the finishing touches to the new book ‘Two for the Road’ which will come out at the beginning of April. Here’s the ‘blurb’ off the back to give you an idea of what it’s all about plus sneak preview of the cover. In the next month or so I will redo my website and put up lots of info about the background to the book.

As a teenager, Cassie Munro fled her seaside hometown of Bilkara, taking a dark secret with her to a new life in London. Now, devastated by revelations of her husband’s betrayal and a brutal assault on her father, she returns home feeling she has nothing left to lose.

Against her better judgement, she finds herself battling to save her family’s beloved tow-truck business. With violent opposition from a competitor and only lukewarm support from her childhood mentor, the tattooed towie Kingi, she seems set to fail. In the midst of her struggle, Cassie is reunited with her first love, Mack, who forces her to confront her guilty secret and the tragic past they share. This highly anticipated follow-up to The Olive Sisters is a powerful and moving novel about one woman’s journey of healing; finding redemption and letting go of the past.
